Antonia Lofaso

Antonia's cuisine is a means to get inside her world. Food that she cooks is a source of interest that was born from the moment she stepped beyond the outskirts of Long Island and into the culturally diverse landscape that is Los Angeles. Carnitas, Cavatelli and various other cuisines can be found on one menu. This is a constantly evolving taste. With every dish she serves, she has a vision that is distinct and speaks to a longing for the old. Scopa Italian Roots is a restaurant which was established by Lofaso in the year 2013. She opened it because of her heritage as an Italian-American. The restaurant's version of traditional Italian cuisine is one of Los Angeles's most popular restaurants. Lofaso consistently serves excellent meals at Scopa it is a local favorite. The patrons call it authentic and satisfying. Lofaso was trained by renowned chefs to acquire their specialized methods. She was also not afraid making bold choices to honor her gut instincts. She soon rose to the ranks of Wolfgang Puck's Spago before moving further to collaborate with celebrities in various Los Angeles kitchens. Lofaso, Sal Aurora, and Mario Guddemi partnered to open Black Market Liquor Bar Studio City in the year 2011. The Lofaso is now settling in Black Market, and through the partnerships that she created. Lofaso could find the space to create the work she longed for through this partnership. Black Market is not constrained by one definitive direction and that is the intention. This course would begin with potato chips flavored with dill Shishito peppers and continue with Korean wings. What anchors this bold array of flavors is Antonia. Lofaso evaluates her achievements all through her career on the basis of her ability to get to know her audience well and remain true to her personality. Her unforgettable performance of Top Chef Chicago and Top Chef: All Stars showcased her individuality outside the kitchen. Her talents remain in the spotlight of the camera, as a panelist on CNBC's Restaurant Startup and recurring role on the Food Network's Cutthroat Kitchen Man vs. Child as well as ABC's Real O'neals. Lofaso teamed with Penguin to publish The Busy mom's Cookbook 100 Recipes for quick Delicious home-cooked Meals in 2012. This book also reveals the story of her struggle as a mother of Xea and pursuing her studies in The French Culinary Institute. Lofaso maintains that the inspiration behind all of Lofaso's accomplishments is her kitchen. In this way, she is always in the pulse. She has revolutionized the industry's design by creating chef's wear to be functional and stylish with her own brand Chefletics. Lofaso believes in being true to yourself and your goals. To achieve this, she's launched Antonia Lofaso Catering. The new business will give personalized experience for clients.
